As we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic together, we are continually developing new protocols with your safety in mind.
We’re taking extra care so that you don’t need to delay your surgery. We have built a safety plan designed to evaluate each patient’s case independently as we determine the need for certain safety measures, including COVID-19 testing.
Mask Policy
All patients, employees, visitors, and family must wear a mask over their nose and mouth upon arrival to the facility.
Visitors
To promote the privacy and safety of our patients and staff, and in accordance with evolving guidance from various agencies surrounding COVID-19, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Uptown has an amended visitor policy. The hospital encourages minimizing the number of visitors that accompany you during your time at the facility to those individuals that will be participating in your care and recovery. The hospital does not recommend children under the age of 12 to be in the facility to ensure the safety of them and our patients.
Entrance Screening
All staff, patients and visitors may be screened upon entrance to the facility, including temperature checks.
